A delightful Monday morning,
All to myself.
Purple Moorhen, Red Naped Ibis and Little Cormorant,
Hard at work: all by themselves.
I was amazed to spot the Open Billed Stork
Using its beak like a fork.
Boating on the quiet Irai Lake, twenty five feet deep,
Felt as if I was sailing on a giant that was asleep.
A little fish jumped into our boat,
Perhaps trying to escape the croc’s throat.
Now wasn’t that a delightful morning near the Tadoba Moharli Gate?
I indeed had some good fate!
With serene nature to relish,
And bring home memories to cherish!
